Virtual Receptionists

Smith.ai Virtual Receptionist Update: Nov 20, 2024

📧
Notifications: Call Quota Notifications
Stay ahead and avoid surprise charges by getting an alert when you're approaching your monthly plan’s call limit. This allows you to be more mindful of your call usage and adjust your plan if needed. Learn how to turn on call quota notifications. As of today, you can turn this on in your dashboard.
🔗
Integrations: Pass Call Recording URLs
In addition to listening to call recordings directly in your dashboard, you can now access the individual call recording URL in your favorite tools like Zapier, Make, and most CRM integrations. This seamless integration allows you to automate tasks, enrich customer data, and gain deeper insights into customer interactions. Learn how to enable it in your dashboard.
🗣️
Call Handling: Ensure specific clients always reach a Bilingual receptionist
Let us know who your Spanish-speaking clients are, and we’ll direct them to a Spanish-speaking receptionist every time they call. Learn how to ensure specific clients always reach a Spanish-speaking receptionist.
Feature Updates
🎯
Send all callers to a single caller type
Do you receive only one type of call, and don't need to identify different caller types? You can now set up a dedicated line with Voice Assistant, whether you need it for VIP calls, specific inquiries, or a targeted service.
🗣️
Custom Pronunciation
We added a quick link inside the dashboard to report pronunciation issues within individual call recordings. Once reported, we can fine-tune the pronunciation to get your business name right.

Flexible Call Routing
You can now set unique transfer destinations for different caller types — Potential new clients, existing clients, sales, and other callers can each go to a different transfer number. You can update your instructions and routing here.
Add Team Members
You can add up to 10 team members, which works in combination with caller-type transfer destinations.
Coming Soon:
Team members bring us one step closer to releasing intelligent call distribution (allowing callers to say who they'd like to be transferred to).
Improved Business Information for Callers
We've added an "about us" section, enabling the Voice Assistant to effectively represent your business and provide helpful information to your callers. Please take a look and update your business information today!

  • Improved the Voice Assistant's ability to use FAQ to answer caller questions correctly.
  • Added a modal to the FAQ letting users know to put business hours and directions in the business info section.
