Smith.ai AI Receptionist Update: March 6, 2025

📱 Extended qualification criteria
Ask callers custom qualification questions to ensure they’re the right fit. If they're qualified, they'll continue to the next step in the call. Otherwise, AI Receptionist will advise that you cannot help and disqualify them.

🔗 HighLevel Integration
AI Receptionist now natively integrates with HighLevel, offering an alternative to HighLevel’s Voice AI Agents. Get advanced AI call answering, lead qualification, and appointment booking — without being locked into a single provider.

🔗 MyCase Integration
All calls answered by AI Receptionist can be logged directly in MyCase’s Communications Call Log. Keep a complete record of client interactions and never miss a critical detail. Connect AI Receptionist to MyCase.
📱 Send follow-up texts after AI Receptionist calls
You can now have AI Receptionist send text messages instantly to your callers as soon as the call ends.
You can send a thank-you note to keep the caller interested, intake forms for qualified leads, additional information on your company, a link to a document to sign, or anything else — as long as it fits within a text message.
🔗 Hubspot Integration
HubSpot is one of the largest and most well respected providers of inbound marketing software, so it’s no surprise that our clients have requested that AI Receptionist integrate with it.
With the Smith.ai and HubSpot integration, AI Receptionist can now:
  • Look up existing contacts by email
  • Add and update existing contact records
  • Add calls as "events" within a contact record
  • Add call summaries to these events
Ready to connect? Visit the integrations page in your dashboard and select Hubspot.
🔤 Improved name and email spelling
To improve the accuracy of contact information and reduce call repetition, AI Receptionist will now prompt callers to spell their name and email.
✨ Sign-up with Google Business Profile
New AI Receptionist clients can sign up for our services using a Google account, and connect their Google Business Profile. This will prefill their relevant business information, such as business name, website URL, and location.
Coming Soon: Connecting to Google Business Profile brings us one step closer to prepopulating call instructions using your existing data.

Turn off agent verification
For clients who want calls to be shorter and don't want agents to verify information, you can now turn that feature off.
Fixes

  • Improved the Voice Assistant's ability to use FAQ to answer caller questions correctly.
  • Added a modal to the FAQ letting users know to put business hours and directions in the business info section.
